Holly’s Choice: Glitterland by Alexis Hall
Holly was so moved by this book that she forced Erin and Ingrid to buddy read it with her. Is it messy? Yes. But the writing is wonderful and Hall depicts Ash’s struggles beautifully. (Read our full, three-way review here.)
Ingrid’s Choice: Unmarriageable by Soniah Kamal
Ingrid generally avoids Austen retellings, but she thought Kamal nailed it with this one. It’s not just a good retelling: it’s interesting, engaging, and well thought out. Strap in for a long ride though—this one’s a slow burn. (Read Ingrid’s full review here.)
Erin’s Choice: The Professor Next Door by Jackie Lau
David is a nerd in the streets and a freak in the sheets. And also a stern brunch daddy. I think that’s all you need to know about why Erin picked this book. (Read Erin’s full review here.)
