Spring is here! We’re excited for sunshine, plants growing, and, of course, smut. Here’s what we got up to in the last month.
Our Favorite Reads…

Everyone’s Choice: Nobody’s Baby But Mine by Susan Elizabeth Phillips
This book was utterly, delightfully, bonkers. Plus it featured some very 90s fashion. You can read our discussion of it here.
Ingrid’s Choice: The Bun & The Gun by Vanessa Gray Bartal
Librarian and spy team up, have epic adventures. Ingrid laughed her face off.
Erin’s Choice: Good Boy by Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy
The hero is like a giant golden retriever.
Holly’s Choice: Reading the Signs by Kiera Andrews
This M/M baseball romance is kind, sexy, and heartwarming. With spanking AND lots of details about how pitchers and catchers communicate. What’s not to love?
More from the Blog…
Our big project this month was March Smashness, where we read a bunch of sports romances together and then talked about them.

But the sports romance talk didn’t stop there! We (ok, mostly Erin) made lists of our favorite romances featuring M/M pairings, female athletes, and retired athletes.
We also…
- Put together a spotlight on Annabeth Albert, whose books you should definitely check out
- Wrote a piece about sex writing and variety
- Started a new series on the craft of writing romance, starring Ingrid
- Continued our discussion of what makes a romance by focusing on some standouts in the genre
Notes from Romancelandia…
In case you hadn’t heard, Bridgerton season 2 is now on Netflix. We haven’t watched it yet, so we have no saucy takes for you guys. Yet.
Coming Soon…

In April, we’ll be catching up on all those review copies we ignored this month, plus reading some rom-coms! Woohoo!
