Wrap Up

August 2022 Wrap Up

Our Favorite Reads…

Ingrid’s Choice: The Bookshop on the Corner by Jenny Colgan

Lots of tension, dry humor, and adorable to the max.

Holly’s Choice: The Unmatchmakers by Jackie Lau

Jackie Lau consistently delivers fun romances with a bit of steam and some thoughtful family dynamics, and The Unmatchmakers is no exception. It was exactly what Holly needed when she read it.

Erin’s Choice: Enemies of the State by Tal Bauer

Erin actually recommends this whole dang series, because who needs sleep when you could be binging the most epic romantic suspense EVER?

More from the Blog…

We’ll be back with the Great Smut Debate and Hearts and Crafts next month.

Notes from Romancelandia…

If you like organizing your reading, why not give Fall in Love Bingo a shot? Runs September–November.

Do you decide whether to read a romance based on whether it has sex it in? Check out the Does it Bang list, curated by @HEA_doesitbang. (You can also explore our reviews based on tags! Here are all of the books we’ve discussed with no sex, here are the ones with lotsa sex, and here are the ones that get a bit kinky.)

Coming Soon…

We’ve got something special planned for September, but we’ll also be doing our usual round of reading and reviewing. Here are some of the books we’ll be talking about.
