Review: Release by Suzanne Clay (2022)

Heat Factor: Chapter 1: Glory Hole. Chapter 2: Phone sex. Chapter 3: Banging on his desk.

Character Chemistry: She takes care of him, he takes care of her.

Plot: Danielle uses anonymous sex as a stress release. Except this time, it wasn’t anonymous. It was her boss.

Overall: Very sexy with a nice message, but you must be prepared for a heroine with baggage to work through

Review: Seducing the Billionaire by Allie Winters (2021)

Bishop Brothers, Book #3

Review of Bishop Brothers #1, Bishop Brothers #2

Heat Factor: The sex is very complicated on account of the power dynamics and the lies

Character Chemistry: I bought it

Plot: Emma is a plant in Connor’s office, so she’s a lying liar. Connor is just a billionaire trying not to bone his employee and failing. Can you guess what happens next?

Overall: My HR brain was screaming, but also somehow I was shockingly sympathetic to these protagonists.

Review: The Blundering Billionaire by Chace Verity (2020)

Heat Factor: Closed door, but they do openly discuss their kinks.

Character Chemistry: Cute.

Plot: Jay tries to ask Isla out, but kind of accidentally hires her as his assistant instead. Turns out, she’s really good at being an assistant.

Overall: This is a very soft, gentle romance with soft, gentle characters.

Rant, Review

Series Review: Krish / Before Krish by N.J. Bhogayta

Heat Factor: It’s…extremely steamy.

Character Chemistry: It’s pretty electric and from the start you know they’re going to even though…they probably ought not.

Plot: Nicole is a driven, well-regarded, successful up-and-comer in finance and acquisitions when she’s forced into working for Raphael–one of the biggest players in the industry, kind of a bully, and very very sexy. She’s got major baggage (yikes!), he’s one of those guys everyone warns you about (not a good idea, honey) and it’s crisis after sexy crisis for these two.

Overall: I can’t review the entire plot arc, because I’ve only read books 1 and 2 out of 3–but there’s some major red flags AND some major steam in this series that I’ll happily pick apart for you.
