Heat Factor: Two fairly detailed encounters towards the end
Character Chemistry: They really like each other, but it takes them a while to figure out how to communicate
Plot: Black ops anti-monster soldier rescues line cook from evil vampire, moves him into her home, and discovers that he’s the family she’s been searching for all along
Overall: There are some nice moments, but this book needed a better editor
Heat Factor: Pretty low heat, considering this is a demon romance
Character Chemistry: Fane teasing Mihr is the highlight of this duology
Plot: A demon and an angel escape from Hell together and make a lot of people really angry in the process
Overall: Demon Rising is really fun, but Angel Falling kinda dragged

Heat Factor: There’s lotsa sex. Some of it is sexy. Some of it is wild. Some of it is BDSMy. And some of it is completely bonkers.
Character Chemistry: My female essence submits to your male energy.
Plot: A girl with a fish tail and a guy with wings hang out, do some traveling, and engage in an epic battle against the forces of evil.
Overall: If you’re in the mood for bonkers morality-chain paranormal romance, then these books are wildly entertaining. With a lot of caveats.
