Review: Three Little Words by Jenny Holiday (2019)

Bridesmaids Behaving Badly, Book 3

Heat Factor: So steamy!

Character Chemistry: Each understands what the other needs without words. Plus great banter. Basically, perfection.

Plot: Bridesmaid and Best Man need to travel from New York to Florida in the middle of a snowstorm in time to get to the wedding.

Overall: I felt lied to by the blurb, but the emotional payoff was so good that I didn’t care.

Filthy Rich, Book #1

Heat Factor: It’s hot. 🔥 Whew.

Character Chemistry: At first it’s like, “you’re really hot, we’re having sex,” but then eventually  the emotional chemistry starts to sizzle.

Plot: Babies solve life problems (?) by creating more life problems (!!!)

Overall: I’m interested to see what this author does next.

Review: The Pilot and the Puck-Up by Pippa Grant (2018)

Heat Factor: Men who like strong women = sexy.

Character Chemistry: Instantaneous, but with near-constant fails. It’s sublime.

Plot: Absolutely badass female zero-gravity pilot and business owner meets a gigantic professional hockey player. Competition commences. Plot twist: she beats him at EVERYTHING and it never occurs to him that his masculinity could be threatened by that

Overall: It’s refreshing, it’s hilarious, it’s riveting, and it’s going to make you think about gender roles (but in a genuinely subtle, sexy way)
