Touch of Taboo, Book #2

Review of Touch of Taboo, Book #1

Heat Factor: This book is pictured next to the definition of “one-handed read”

Character Chemistry: Mostly developed off page prior to this book, but it works

Plot: Let’s just play out this fantasy. It’ll be fiiiiine.

Overall: If you’re only in it for the sexy sex, this will absolutely work, but Robert actually also does some interesting things here

Plot: Two people who swore never to be in a relationship after trauma fall into a relationship

Overall: This book was really excellent…but after a book that explored so much about having a different kind of successful relationship, the ending, while totally understandable, did not feel very fresh, which bummed me out a little bit

Review: The Master by Kresley Cole (2015)

The Game Maker, Book #2

Review of The Game Maker, Book #1

Heat Factor: They have amazing kinky hate sex energy

Character Chemistry: The “I hate you but I really want to jump you” dynamic is EXCEPTIONAL

Plot: She needs money to stay on the run from her serial killer husband, so she steps in for her friend as a very expensive escort for a night. He is bowled over by her breath of fresh air in his luxurious but monotonous life, but he also thinks everything she says is a lie. So obviously they fall in love.

Overall: Combo of “What did I even just read?” and “That was amazing.”
