Review: Crashing Into Her by Mia Sosa (2019)

Love on Cue, Book 3

Reviews of Love on Cue Book 1, Book 2

Heat Factor: Unlike Danny Zuko, Anthony can Get It at the drive in.

Character Chemistry: So much witty banter – but they also really see each other

Plot: I really like you, but you definitely don’t want a relationship.

Overall: Low angst. High heat. I couldn’t put it down.

Review: Hex, Love, and Rock and Roll by Kat Turner 2020

Coven Daughters, Book 1

Heat Factor: 🍆🍆 (that means his firm penis leaves his pants twice)

Character Chemistry: Insta-lust, but they are both broken so they complete each other.

Plot: Novice Witch hexes Rock God old enough to be her father. Lots of woo-woo shenanigans ensue.

Overall: I could not suspend my disbelief enough for this one

Review: Trashed by Mia Hopkins (2019)

Eastside Brewery, Book #2

Heat Factor: It’s hot friends. SUPER hot.

Character Chemistry: Very much based on sexual chemistry

Plot: Eddie’s bad decisions impact his life all over the place, but he’s having some difficulty extracting himself from them

Overall: I enjoyed this much more for Eddie’s growth arc than for the romance

Knights of Fury, Book #3

Heat Factor: explicit but not lengthy

Character Chemistry: I bought it while reading but now that I’m done I’m wondering where it came from?

Plot: Biker asks bartender on a date every year for four years and when she finally accepts on year five, she witnesses a murder and is kidnapped…by the biker

Overall: This was really fun and also, like, WUT

Review: Only When It’s Us by Chloe Liese (2020)

Bergman Brothers, Book 1

Heat Factor: They’re not virgins but it’s pretty first love type stuff

Character Chemistry: Solidly “I’m going to antagonize you because that’s how we demonstrate our affection instead of being vulnerable”

Plot: A pair of 21-year-olds with baggage try to figure out how to adult

Overall: Heart eyes
