Anthology Review: Duke I’d Like to F… (2019)

Heat Factor: Each novella has at least two sex scenes, but I don’t think the stories quite cross the line into erotic romance. Bonus points for lots of explicit consent.

Character Chemistry: Sizzling. In every story.

Plot: Woman propositions Duke. Duke agrees to sexytimes. “But we can’t have anything more.” Everyone wants more.

Overall: Sexy and fun

Review: Dream Chaser by Kristen Ashley (2020)

Dream Team, Book 2

Heat Factor: If you had asked me earlier, I would not have said that being collared is sexy. But I am totally buying what Ashley is selling here.

Character Chemistry: Well, I wanted them together in book 1, so…yeah, they’ve got chemistry

Plot: “I want to be with you.” “Never gonna happen.” “You know what? Fine.” … “Actually, not fine, you just got kidnapped and dragged into a dangerous situation with an ever-increasing body count, and I am not okay with that.”

Overall: Ermagherd, worth the wait!

Heat Factor: Yup, there is some boning.

Character Chemistry: “Why is she trying to be my friend? She is so perky!”

Plot: Amy moves to the Big City, enthusiastically embraces Big City Life…and her new neighbor.

Overall: This is some A+ grumpy/sunshine action and it’s just what I needed.

Review of The Hartigans, Book 1

Heat Factor: “Let’s act out our fantasies in the car” kind of hot
