Review: The Goddess Gets Her Guy by Ashlyn Chase (2019)

Heat Factor: The sex is infrequent but quite detailed.

Character Chemistry: They spend barely any time together.

Plot: Fate and Karma decide to find Mother Nature a boyfriend. Maybe if she gets laid, she’ll stop being so pissy all the time.

Overall: The premise is soooo ridonkulous; the execution is sooooo earnest.

Character Chemistry: They don’t interact all that much

Plot: She-Hulk’s mild-mannered alter-ego keeps a diary about her love life, or lack thereof

Overall: A fun read, but not really a good romance

Review: Vampire Mine by Kerrelyn Sparks (2011)

Love at Stake, Book 10

Heat Factor: Smoldering, but watch out for Hellfire.

Character Chemistry: Cosmic insta sparks.

Plot: Fallen angel tries to get back into heaven by helping some good vampires defeat an evil vampire. Learns about love in the process. But specific sexual love, not the general anonymous love for humanity that all angels experience.

Overall: A romance novel that is also a meditation on faith and free will.
